Barton Aerodrome Fly-In Announced for May
The Friends of Barton Aerodrome have announced a fly-in is to be held in May.
According to their information:
The Friends of Barton Aerodrome (FoBA) are holding a Fly-in over the weekend of 18th/19th May.
All types of General Aviation aircraft are welcomed.
There are no landing fees for aircraft flying in to this event.
Prior Permission is Required (PPR) contact 0161 789 1362 or visit www.cityairportandheliport.com/online-ppr
Pilots wishing to do so can camp under their wing over the Saturday/Sunday night – please let us know if you plan to do this when booking PPR.
Refreshments are available on site including Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Hotels are less than 2 miles away as indeed is the Intu Trafford Centre.
During the day FoBA will be carrying out short tours of this historical Airport.
FoBA “Plus” members with current membership card and hi-viz vest will be allowed airside to photograph the visiting aircraft.
